It's taken 20 years of losing but Ash has finally won the Pokemon League

The years seem to have taken their toll on him, though.

The fresh face of a boy entering his first Pokemon League:

The look of a Mario- I mean a man who has entered countless times but never won:

His lightning face texture-things are now a filthy moustache. And his hair looks suspiciously like he has a combover under that hat.

Orange Islands is like winning High School Rugby and saying you won a Professional Rugby Tournament.

It's 4 gym leaders and a top gym leader.

Rather than 8 gym leaders to qualify for the league, [show]then the league itself which is a tournament[/show], followed by the elite four and that mother****er Gary.

You too can reach your dreams as long as you dedicate at least 20 years to it. But pffft, 20 years, pretty much every kid and his dog had beaten Pokemon within a month or two max.

He's useless, he ritually forgot all of the resistances and his Pokemon's moves.

Waiting for the English dub. Any idea when it will be released? I'm guessing the dub is typically 6 months or more behind the Japanese version?

Depends on how good the show is. Judging by the amount they spent on the animation, English dub is 7 years away.

Some better shows have had a dub out in weeks.
