bass sounds shit/buzz on unitek usb jack converter

why does the bass sound like shit on my $50 earbubs after I plug them into a usb jack adapter
the sounds good on the front 3.5mm jack on the computer with no usb adapter but I brought the usb adapter because the left and right audio would cut out all the time on the 3.5mm front computer jack,it dont cut out on the adapter but the bass is stuffed

Could be a dicky 3.5mm connection to the front port? Or even the port itself. You mention the front port sounds like shit, what does the rear sound like?

Possibly mobo not grounded properly? My brother had a similar issue when his wasnt grounded.
