Ship/Transport new car Auckland -> Wellington

    Hi

I bought an almost new 2018 Honda CRV 7 Seater, private sale in Auckland.
From looking online it looks to cost around $5-600 to transport Auck -> Wgtn.
    Someone recommend picture vehicles

A bit worried of it getting scratched on the transport as it's essentially a brand new car.

These are the options from google, has anyone used any of the below companies or have a different recommendation?

    - Mike

PTS Auto (Open transport) - $490

The Car Distribution Group (Open transport) - $510

    Picture vehicles (Closed transport) - $ ???

Grab a seat, and drive back in the same day.

    Would drive it for sure.

When the car wasn't roadworthy though I used PTS Auto and had no problems. They were cheapest in my case and didn't care the car drove but not well. Driving it was no an option to me due to car condition. If I had a newish car, i'd drive it the length of the country no worries. #YOLO

PTS shifted all the company's cars down to Dunedin.

I used Auto Despatch to get the Leaf Auckland to Wellington.

I think it ran about $400 and something. Car arrived happy and well, picked it up from their depot in Seaview.

I have used auto despatch to get a fresh import from Auclkland to Lower Hutt and it costs around $300. They picked up my car in the afternoon and dropped it off my house the next day before noon. Really happy with their price and speedy service. Also the transporter they used to drop off my car had Rutherford and Bond toyota branding on it which was weird.

its because they bring the car to their yard, and swap trucks, so the delivery truck will be a local truck. I've used them a couple of times, and found although they did the job they werent too careful with the cars, and the communication was lacking.
