    I'm actually really excited for this. I wanted a good reason to buy Anthem. Hopefully this will be it.

    Unlike Fallout 76, this does not seem to be about (at least from what I can see) keeping existing players in the game, but instead getting players back. If done well it could work. Final Fantasy 14 managed it.
    While I think Anthem is likely done, I will wait to see what is said before writing them off completely. If nothing else it is good to see EA not just shutting a game down because it failed to meet expectations. This and Fallen Order indicate that at least some attitudes are changing at EA.

    Final Fantasy 14 managed it.
    I'm doubtful they'll go that far, FF14 gutted the entire plot and completely changed the engine. It's in a whole different league to what No Man's Sky or Destiny 1 did.
