What games have you beaten this year?

So what games has everyone beaten this year? I've been a bit slack compared to previous years so just wondering what games I have missed out on this year.

Here's my list which probably pales in comparison to most of you guys:

    RE2
    Sekiro
    Metro Exodus
    FC: New Dawn
    DMC 5
    AC: Odyssey
    Ruiner
    Modern Warfare
    World War Z
    Remnant: From The Ashes
    Dark Souls 3
    Horizon Chase Turbo
    Jedi Fallen Order

    PC:
    Dex
    Observer

thats like 1.25 games per month this is some next level humblebrag

    all on PC for me

    ass creed origins
was good enough to make me buy odyssey during this steam sale, but it got so repetitive by the end of the campaign that I couldnt be bothered with the DLC which I also own
ancient egyptian setting was hella cool, best part of the game by far

    dead space 2
played through this old gem again, still makes me shit myself with consistency. cant play it for more than 1.5 hours at a time because im an enormous pussy

    kingdoms of amalur reckoning
fun combat system and great art direction in this RPG, like AC:O however it went on too long for its own good and got too repetitive in the last quarter studio that made it deserved better

    need for speed undercover
got shat on by everyone so much upon release that I only now got around to trying it for the first time this year. Honestly, it was pretty decent if you're in the mood for this type of fast and furous level cheesy campness

    sleeping dogs
I played this a bit on release but only finished it recently. throughout its run time it held my attention which is prolly the highest praise i can give a game

    spyro reignited trilogy
after maxing the first and nearly maxing the second I ran out of steam during the third, but holy gosh darn this was hella fun

    watchdogs 2
goty, amazing game, **** yeah, such a gorgeous rendition of san fran and the GTA style play with focus on non lethal stealthy / environmental action was a breath of fresh air. boiiiiii this is good shit right here

lol nah no bragging here. It didn't feel like I played that many games this year. Maybe cos some of the games were meh to me and I just rushed through them is why I felt that way. A few of them were pretty short as well. Also considering I was unemployed for 4 months I wouldn't call 1.25 games per month brag-worthy lol.

I kept a mostly chronological notepad for games this year, including time played from Steam/GoG

Trails in the Sky FC - 37hrs
Grimrock 2 - 85hrs (not sure if real)
    Planescape Torment - 17hrs
    Banished - 10hrs
    FFXIV Stormblood
    Battle Chasers: Nightwar - 25hrs
    Deadbolt - 6hrs
Grim Dawn: Forgotten Gods - ~30hrs
    Siralim 2 - 22hrs
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning - maybe 40, idk
Trails in the Sky SC - 55hrs
    Ori & The Blind Forest - 13hrs
Dungeon of the Endless - 13hrs
Shin Megami Tensei: IV - Neutral - 55hrs
    FE: Three Houses - Lions - 62hrs
Disgaea 5 - Insert time here

Currently halfway (I guess?) through DQ XI, but I doubt I'll finish it this year.

I also won Tales of Maj'Eyal with 7 more classes, which was not an insignificant amount of time lol!

My favourite from this year is definitely Trails SC.

    In no order...

    Destiny 2: Forsaken
    Devil May Cry 5
    Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers
    Spyro - Reignited Trilogy
    Ace Combat 7
    Yakuza 0
    Yakuza Kiwami
The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt
    Spiderman
    Halo: Reach (MCC)
    Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled
    SoulCalibur VI
    Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

And probably some other stuff I don't remember.

As for which of those I'd recommend the most, The Witcher 3 and Final Fantasy XIV. All of them were pretty solid if I managed to stick with them until completion, but those 2 stood out in particular due to having fantastic plots. Yes, XIV is an MMO, and yes, the plot is fantastic - I consider it to be the best Final Fantasy plot, period. Highly recommended.

    The Outer Worlds
AC: Odyssey (may have been Dec 2018....anyway this game was excellent)
Enderal: Forgotten Stories (if you like Skyrim you should like this)

About it really. I'm playing RDR 2 at the moment, despite my initial complaints about it being boring it has grown on me. Also played quite of bit of Age of Empires 2: DE and Civ 6.

Only game I played that I was compelled to finish out of sheer enjoyment was Subnautica.

Oh, and Pathfinder which is a good fun game. Preferred it over Pillars of Eternity 2 myself.

Man I love that game. I beat it in January but didn't include it in my list since I started it at the end of last year. It sux Below Zero is still 3 or 4 months away from full release. So keen on getting into that.

Fark all gaming for me this year.

    In no particular order:

    Pillars of Eternity 2
    Resident Evil 2
    Witcher 3 (4th play through)

Probably gonna have another crack at Witcher 3 after I started watching the Netflix series

    XCOM 2
    Astral Chain
    Fire Emblem: Three Houses

pretty sure i am missing a few.

also currently still playing (and had hoped to have done by the end of the year)

and that's still not even a dent in my backlog of shame, or graveyard of shame as I've heard it called recently.

I never got a cuddlefish, so I have reason to do a playthrough again But might do it pure vegetarian for a challenge.

And same, I tried Below Zero when the EA was first released, to get a feel for the setting, and then left it, so I can enjoy it in its full finished glory.
